6 Weeks!!

So, we've made it to 6 weeks as a family of 4 with a newborn and a toddler!! Woohoo! Things have gone very well lately and both kids and been making lots of progress. Brennan is pretty much sleeping through the night, he goes to sleep around 11/11:30 and wakes up between 5/6:30 but occasionally will still wake up once through the night. He's doing an amazing job holding his head up from a sitting position and from his tummy, he smiles alot now, both in response to your smile and just when he is enjoying something or if you rub his tummy or make silly faces. He's also cooing quite a bit now which I love and will do so quite a lot if he's been sleeping and wakes up to you holding him which I think is just adorable! Chloe has been such a great big sister to him and is constantly kissing him and loving him and checking to make sure he's ok. She always makes sure to say bye to him and kiss him before she leaves to go play or go go somewhere with one of us if the baby is staying home.

Chloe has reached some milestones herself as well. She did a terrific job on potty training last week, in fact the whole week we only changed 2 diapers I think but wants nothing to do with the potty this week so we'll see what happens here in the next week or two. She's still learning new words on a daily basis which is awesome and working on her ABC's and numbers. She can count to 5 now and sings the alphabet song along with you although most of the letters we have trouble understanding still. As usual, Chloe is a riot and makes us laugh on an hourly basis it seems, and of course gets me upset on a bi-hourly basis- I'm kidding, at least for the most part!
