Baby Brennan 3d/4d Ultrasound Pics

We had a 3d/4d Ultrasound done this evening of Baby Brennan and it was absolutely one of the coolest things ever! We loved it! After having so many traditional ultrasounds done, mainly with Chloe, it was very awesome to see the 3d/4d and actually see the baby and what he essentially looks like. It really made you want to just hold him because it was that real. Granted, there are some odd things about the 3d/4d- like the cord disfigures the way some things look and the fluid works as a blocker in certain frames, the shadows are must more evident than in a normal ultrasound so it gives the illusion of things like a full head of hair! The other two odd things are that being that it is so detailed but at the same time effected by all the different things I mentioned above, it looks like the baby has warts (for lack of a better word) in some of the pics and that it cuts out part of the picture (much like when someone's arm is just out of range of the camera lens) and so in certain pictures it looks like he's missing the top of his head ect...
But, we are very happy with the pictures and even happier to say that he is perfectly healthy - according to this and previous ultrasounds, growth of the baby, blood work of course and all the other tests they are able to do now! However, the one thing that I personally am a little worried about is Mr. Baby Brennan is in the breech position! Granted we have 10-11 weeks until he should be here but ideally he should of moved into position by now and so lets hope he does that any day now, tonight would be good actually!!!
Hope you enjoy the pics- we sure are!!
Our handsome little fetus @ 29 weeks!
Baby Brennan rubbing his eyes- how cute!!

Still rubbing his eye- you can really see his forearm well in this pic and even his upper arm a bit.

This is his spine, back, ear and upper arm- notice where it looks like the top of his head is missing- rest assured it's not!

Brennan has his foot touching his head with his leg straight up and down in front of him- babies are so flexible!!

Essentially the same pic- just with labels!

Profile on the left, Baby Brennan's face on the right

Brennan's foot (I'm not sure what everything around his foot are but I do know it's not any type of body parts)

Also, I'm not sure if any of these pics show it too well as I didn't post alot of the upclose pics but when the pics are printed out you can really see his facial features well. Always a chance we could be wrong but if we are right Baby Brennan has full lips, mainly his bottom lip, which he can thank Mommy for and his nose, well his nose is all Daddy!! I kid you not in one of the pictures you can even see the same little bump that Eric has in the bridge of his nose, which I just find amazing! It's also the same width and definition as Eric's- so he can thank Daddy for that gift! We can't really tell any other features but it kinda looks like he has big forehead so that we will thank Grandpa (aka Da-Da) for but really that could be blamed on me just as easily- that would absolutely be an Arthur trait!
See why we thought the 3d/4d was so awesome- we didn't have this conversation until the night Chloe was born but we are still trying to figure out her features!! lol

Still working on making our Home!!

Remodeling is still going on! I have posted a couple pics although I'm not sure there are enough pictures in the world to explain what we've all been through for the past couple of weeks! Everyone has done a great job adjusting and working around all the plaster dust, moved furniture, lack of a functional kitchen and everything being squeezed on the lanai. Eric has been working super hard to get everything done for us which has been fun, enjoyable, tiresome and of course stressful for him (and me too!!) Everything is coming out beautiful though and we are starting to see what the end is going to look like. Below are pics of the kitchen and living room for the most part. We have almost all the floors down, pretty much everything painted and baseboards have started to go up. Still alot to do but we are on our way!! Eric taking up the old floors
Putting the floors down at the front door

Kitchen in process!

Getting closer to being done!!

Looking from the kitchen to the living room, floors down, walls painted- so pretty!!!

Chloe turns 2!!!!

It happened- our baby turned 2!!! We can not believe she is already two! It's been an awesome and incredibly fast two years and it's somewhat sad for us that she is growing up so much and becoming such a little independent person! So, we had a birthday party for Chloe on Sunday with lots of family and friends and it was so much fun! We had a petting zoo and pony rides - it was kinda like a personal little zoo for all the kids! There were 15 animals in addition to the pony and the kids got to pet and brush all of them which they all loved! Chloe was quite fascinated with all the animals and I believe the only "incident" was with Chloe, of course, when she essentially grabbed the goose's neck and he bit her on the cheek- I would of bit her too! lol She wasn't hurt- although it did bother her eye for a minute and she kept making a funny face and twitching her eye. Other than that she and all the other kids were so gentle with the animals. Thank You to everyone who was able to come- it was a great party and couldn't of been without everyone that was there!

Happy 2nd Birthday Chloe!! The Birthday Girl in the petting zoo area

Valentine's Day/ Our Anniversary

For once Eric and I got to go out like normal adults for Valentine's Day, which is also our anniversary- it was amazing!!! lol We went to Ruth's Chris for dinner which was great as usual and had a wonderful time without kids!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Making Our House Our Home

Since we bought our house last year we have wanted to change a few things so we have finally gotten started the list!! We have several things we are doing this first round and I will post pics as we go. These pictures are of part of the living room. We removed a corner shelf that had mirrors above it and was stained a dark color, re drywalled the wall, painted and will be painting the trim around the sliding glass door and around the large mirror as well. And we will be having new floors put in beginning of next week. It already looks so much better with only the couple things done so far so we are pretty excited to get everything done and see the results. It's also been alot of fun to do this together! And of course Miss Chloe has been a big help!!
The pictures are backwards so they go from to date to what it did look like to construction.
The living room as of right not with the new paint color and the corner shelf removed. We still have a couple things left to do!
What the living room looked like before we started any work - it really feels so much larger to us now!

Chloe helping to put the mud on the wall! Such a great helper!

Once the shelf was removed, and part of the wall, and starting to put up drywall so we can have a wall!!
