Pit Stop 2- Cherokee Indian Museum

In honor of Christian's heritage- he has a little tiny bit of Cherokee in him- we went to the Museum of Cherokee Indians. Here are a couple pics from the stop. Christian got a couple mementos- a hatchet, the Cherokee alphabet and a few other small things. Christian outside the Cherokee Museum

Day 2- Still on Our Way....

Christmas Morning - Part 1

Here are a couple pictures from Round 1 on Christmas morning- these are of Chloe opening her first few presents- after her nap we will head over to Grandma's for Round 2 and then when big brother Christian gets home we will come home for Round 3!! My Baby is Growing Up So Fast!

I'm sure every Mother out there has felt this way at one time or another but I thought I'd share a few of my feelings about my little baby girl to all of you out there! I can not believe that she is already almost 10 months old- and in all honesty I'm almost sad about her 1st birthday fast approaching. I can't grasp the fact that soon, very soon, she'll be walking and talking ( more than the dada and baba sounds now- but actual person talk) and then she'll becoming more and more independant until sooner or later she's going to feel like she doesn't need me- her Mommy!!! I can't even begin to understand how someday she's going to be a fully functioning independant person that doesn't need me to do everything for her- I love my baby girl so much and want her to stay like this forever!!! However, Eric does make several good, rational points, that sooner or later the diaper changing and bottle washing and carrying her ect... would get old and it'll be a wonderful expirence to watch her grow up and see what type of person she becomes!

I know that once her 1st birthday comes the growing up part is going to come faster and faster everyday and while it makes me happy in some many ways it also makes me sad in so many ways!!! The time has flown by so fast with Chloe and she is such an amazing little girl that it's beyond my wildest dreams of what Motherhood would be like. I've learned to love everyday with her and enjoy every new expirence with her and love her to death every minute!

So, that's my little story on my baby Chloe growing up so fast and to everyone out there with babies, or about to have babies, I hope you are cherrishing every moment of every day with them because before long they will be tying their own shoes, brushing their own teeth and saying Bye Mom as they run out the door to catch the school bus!!! For now though I am so happy that Chloe needs me for just about everything and that right now and for the past 9 months and hopefully the next couple of years (at least) that Eric and I are her everything, as she is also our everything!

We thought this was cute and fun! It is a meter to tell you who Chloe looks like more!! According to this, Chloe looks like Mommy more by 13%! Overall I would say that's a good mix of the both of us!!
